Once the primer has dried, the appropriate touch-up paint can be applied directly over it.
Car-Rep Grey Touch-Up Primer Pen with Brush 12 ml
The Car-Rep Grey Touch-Up Primer is a practical 12 ml primer designed for preparing small stone chips, scratches and minor paint damage before applying touch-up paint. It is particularly useful when bare metal or plastic is visible in the damaged area.
The convenient 2 in 1 touch-up applicator offers two application methods: the fine tip is ideal for very small stone chips and narrow scratches, while the integrated brush is suitable for larger chips and areas of missing paint.
The grey primer creates a uniform base for the colour coat, offers good filling properties and can be lightly sanded after drying if necessary. It is compatible with all automotive paints sold by us, making it suitable for use underneath all touch-up paints and automotive colour coatings available in our range.

Instructions for use
No spray gun or special painting equipment is required. Small repairs can be prepared easily at home by following the steps below.
- Clean the damaged area.
Remove dirt, wax, grease and other contamination from the area to be repaired. The surface must be completely dry. - Remove any rust first.
Do not apply the primer over loose rust or peeling paint. If necessary, lightly sand the damaged area, then clean it again. - Shake the bottle thoroughly.
Shake well before use to mix the primer properly. - Choose the appropriate applicator.
Use the fine tip for very small stone chips and narrow scratches. Use the integrated brush for larger chips, scratches or areas where more paint is missing. - Apply a thin coat of primer.
Cover only the damaged area. Do not apply too much material at once. A thin and even coat gives a better result than one heavy coat. - Allow the primer to dry.
At approximately 20°C, the primer is touch-dry after about 30 minutes. Full drying takes approximately 24 hours. - Sand lightly if necessary.
If the primed area is uneven, it can be lightly sanded after it has dried. Remove all sanding dust before applying paint. - Apply the touch-up paint.
Once the primer has dried, apply the correct colour touch-up paint. The primer is compatible with all automotive paints sold by us.
