NEO 2K HS clear coat is a two-component acrylic clear developed for professional automotive refinishing and paint repair. It provides a high-gloss finish, good flow and fast drying together with enhanced scratch resistance.

The NEO 3000 system can be used as the clear finishing layer in two-stage automotive paint systems for repaired panels and other professional refinishing work.

NEO 3000 2K HS clear coat

NEO 3000 is a new-generation two-component HS acrylic clear coat designed for easy application and good flow. It produces a high-gloss transparent finish suitable for professional bodyshop use.

One of its main characteristics is enhanced scratch resistance. The system provides improved resistance to fine mechanical wear such as that caused by automatic car wash brushes, although scratch-resistant should not be interpreted as completely scratch-proof.

High gloss and non-yellowing finish

NEO 3000 forms a clear, high-gloss finish over the basecoat. Its non-yellowing formulation helps preserve the intended colour and clarity of the completed paint system.

2:1 mixing ratio and hardener selection

NEO 3000 2K clear coat is mixed at a 2:1 ratio with the appropriate hardener. Different hardener speeds allow the application process to be adapted to workshop temperature, repair size and working conditions.

A faster hardener may be useful for smaller repairs or cooler conditions, while larger areas and warmer environments can require more working time.

NEO clear coat for different repair sizes

Different pack sizes make the NEO 3000 system suitable for both smaller repair work and regular professional bodyshop use. Smaller kits can be practical for lower-volume applications, while larger packs are better suited to frequent refinishing work.

Polishing NEO clear coat

After sufficient curing, the high-gloss NEO 2K clear coat can be refined by fine sanding and polishing when required. Always allow the coating to cure correctly and match the correction process to the condition of the clear coat.
