Hardener selection guide

As per the application guide.

Application

• Coats: 1½–2 coats, 50–80 µm (2.0–3.2 mil)
• For 2 coats: 5–10 minutes flash-off between coats

Flash-off and drying times

Spray gun settings

After correct distance and full flash-off.

Infrared drying

• Half-bake: 4 min / 50 °C
• Full bake: 10 min / 65 °C
• For IR device settings: follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions

Storage / shelf life

Min. 2 years under normal storage conditions (10–30 °C / 50–90 °F) in unopened containers.

Safety and cleaning

• Personal protection: suitable respiratory protection recommended (fresh-air system strongly advised).
• Cleaning: 1-051 Gun Cleaner.
