NOVOL Acrylic Primer P3 Grey is a one-component filling acrylic primer spray designed for levelling surfaces coated with putty and old paint coatings. It is an excellent choice for smaller repairs and local surface preparation work where fast drying, easy application and a sandable surface are important.

One of the main advantages of the product is its very short drying time, which allows quick repair work. The aerosol packaging and FAN nozzle provide an even, controlled spray pattern with application properties similar to a spray gun, making it easier to apply uniform coats.

The P3 grey primer is suitable for use before applying decorative coatings. It provides a good base for further coating, helps level minor surface imperfections and ensures efficient preparation for the next refinishing steps.

Application instructions

1. Surface preparation: the surface must be clean, dry, degreased and properly prepared.
2. Shaking: shake the can thoroughly for at least 2 minutes before use.
3. Application: apply the primer in 2–3 even coats.
4. Flash-off between coats: allow 5–10 minutes between coats.
5. Drying: approx. 15–30 minutes at 20 °C or approx. 15 minutes at 60 °C.
6. Sanding: sand dry with P360–P500 or wet with P800–P1000.
7. Valve cleaning: after use, turn the can upside down and spray for approx. 5 seconds until the valve is clear.
