Note: Paint, filler primer, and clear coat are not included and can be ordered separately as required.

Use (recommendation)

• Step 1: Sand the rusted area and its immediate surroundings with P120 abrasive paper.
• Step 2: Treat the rusted section with Kela Rust rust converter. Protective gloves are recommended.
• Step 3: Allow the chemical treatment to react for at least 3 hours and up to 12 hours.
• Step 4: After the reaction time, clean the treated surface with nitro thinner. The treated area must not be sanded at this stage.
• Step 5: Prime the surface with a rust-inhibiting primer or epoxy primer.
• Step 6: If needed, apply body filler, then sand after drying with P120 first and P220 afterwards.
• Step 7: Apply filler primer in up to 3 thin coats, allowing 20–30 minutes between coats.
• Step 8: After drying, refine the surface with P320, P400, and finally P800 abrasive paper.
• Step 9: Before painting, clean the surface with Neo Sil silicone remover or degreaser.
• Step 10: The surface is then ready for painting and, if necessary, clear coating.

Tip: Proper preparation is the key to a quality repair. Rust treatment, surface smoothness, and a clean degreased substrate all have a major impact on the final result.
