PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Discover the CarColor Professional Car Paint Spray, uniquely created based on your vehicle’s color code. Each spray is custom-mixed to match the exact color shade needed, ensuring that the new paint perfectly aligns with your vehicle’s original color.

Pearl colors require a three-layer application, which is why this package includes two spray cans: 1 base coat and 1 pearl spray. Lacquering is mandatory after applying the paint!

WHY IS LACQUERING NECESSARY?

The lacquer layer provides essential protection for the car paint against UV rays, moisture, and minor damages, helping to preserve the durability of the color. It also makes the surface more resistant and extends the lifespan of the paint. Lacquer gives the desired gloss and aesthetic finish, enhancing the visual appeal of the vehicle. Overall, the lacquer layer makes the painted surface more durable and beautiful, preventing corrosion.

*** Even with the factory color code, the exact color match is not always guaranteed, as we do not have access to the original surface calibration options. The previous paint color and condition can be significantly affected by the age of the vehicle, weather conditions, and the manufacturing location and date of the car. Please consider these factors before placing your order.

** Before applying, spray a test sheet and perform a color check! *** If you would like to reorder a proven color, please upload a photo of the handwritten label from the filled spray in the image field.

Important Information on Using Automotive Paint Spray

Checking the Color

Before starting the painting process, the first and most crucial step is to check the color. The package includes a test spray sheet that allows you to test the paint – we recommend spraying the paint onto it while maintaining the correct number of layers. If you are using a primer, apply the primer layer first, as its shade can directly influence the final color tone. After drying, hold it next to the car body to verify if the paint matches the correct shade.

Surface Preparation

Before starting the painting process, thoroughly clean the surface with a silicone remover. It is essential that the surfaces to be painted are completely free of silicone, grease, and other contaminants. These substances can reduce the paint's adhesion and cause various issues, such as blistering or an uneven surface.

Proper Use of Spray Products

All spray products must be shaken thoroughly for at least 2-3 minutes. This is essential to ensure that the paint and solvent are completely mixed, providing an even coating on the surface. Spray cans are designed to be used in a vertical position – do not tilt them sideways or upside down, as this can lead to uneven spraying, known as "spitting," which results in an irregular surface.

If you have never worked with spray paint before, it is recommended to practice on a test sheet to get used to the correct distance and movement. Practicing the correct technique will help achieve a professional, smooth, and even finish.
