Application
Before applying POLY-FLEX™, clean the entire repair area thoroughly using soap and water, followed by a mild solvent-based degreaser. The surface must be dry and free of oils, dirt, wax, and contamination.
Scuff or featheredge the paint using 80–180 grit sandpaper to promote adhesion. Dispense the required amount of putty onto a clean, non-fibrous mixing board, knead the hardener before use, and mix at a 2% ratio until a consistent color is achieved.
Apply a thin layer using firm pressure to ensure complete coverage of imperfections. Additional layers can be applied to slightly build up the surface for correct contour sanding. Avoid applying over uncured coatings or using excessively thick layers.
