Evercoat Fiber Tech Reinforced Filler

Evercoat Fiber Tech Reinforced is a premium fibre-reinforced polyester repair filler developed for body repair jobs requiring high structural strength. The product is reinforced with a special blend of Kevlar® and advanced glass fibres, making it an excellent choice for reinforcing welded seams, panel joints, rust-through areas, small holes and structural repairs.

Fiber Tech combines the high structural strength of long-strand fillers with the easier spreading and smoother workability of shorter-fibre materials. As a result, it can be used as a strong, waterproof and easily shapeable repair material in areas where standard finishing fillers do not provide sufficient mechanical strength.

Thanks to ZNX-7® adhesion technology, the product provides excellent adhesion to various substrates, including clean steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, SMC, rigid plastics, fibreglass parts and wood. After proper surface preparation, it provides a durable base for further body repair and paint preparation work.

Area of use

Evercoat Fiber Tech is recommended for repairs where higher mechanical strength and water resistance are required than standard repair fillers can provide.

• Repairing rust-through areas
• Sealing and reinforcing smaller holes

• Reinforcing body surfaces exposed to higher mechanical stress

Instructions for use

1. Surface preparation: clean and degrease the surface thoroughly. Sand the repair area back to clean metal or to a clean substrate.
2. Mixing: add approx. 2% cream hardener to the filler. Knead the hardener tube thoroughly before use.
3. Homogeneous mixture: mix the filler and hardener until the colour is completely uniform.
4. First coat: apply the first thin coat with firm pressure so the material properly grips into pores and sanding scratches.
5. Layer build-up: build the required thickness in several controlled layers, not in one excessively thick layer.
6. Sanding: after drying, the surface can be shaped with P80 dry sanding paper.
7. Finishing: for a perfectly smooth, paintable surface, apply a finer finishing filler as the final layer.

Important information

• Fiber Tech is a structural repair filler, so a finer finishing filler is recommended for the final smooth surface.
• For best adhesion, it should be applied directly to a clean and properly prepared substrate.
• Too much hardener or an incorrect mixing ratio may affect drying and sandability.
• Do not apply in an excessively thick layer at once.
• Always perform a test application on the specific surface before use.
