Neo ECO 2K HS Filler - Dark Grey (0.9l) Set
The Neo ECO 2K HS Filler is a premium quality, two-component acrylic-based high-solid (HS) filler and primer sealer. Engineered for professional automotive refinishing, it dries exceptionally fast while offering outstanding insulating and gap-filling performance. It serves as an ideal undercoat, providing a perfect, easy-to-sand foundation for topcoat lacquer application.
Application is remarkably easy. A key benefit during sanding is that it produces heavy dust particles that do not stay airborne. Instead, the dust falls directly to the ground, ensuring a cleaner, safer, and healthier workshop environment without contaminating the surroundings.
Its ultra-low absorption properties combined with excellent cross-linking capabilities effectively prevent topcoat sinkage. This ensures that the final clear coat or paint layer remains perfectly smooth, highly glossy, and firmly bonded to the substrate with maximum adhesion.

Mixing Ratio & Pot Life
Mixing Ratio by Volume:
- Neo ECO 2K HS Filler: 5 parts
- NEO ECO Hardener: 1 part
Pot Life (Working time after mixing):
- Approximately 90 minutes at 20 °C.
Dilution based on Application
- As a High-Build Filler: Dilute with approx. 5 ÷ 10% acrylic thinner until a viscosity of 40" ÷ 50" Ford 4 at 20 °C is reached.
- As a Primer Sealer: Dilute with approx. 15 ÷ 20% acrylic thinner until a viscosity of 30" ÷ 40" Ford 4 at 20 °C is reached.
Surface Preparation & Application
Suitable Substrates: Iron/steel panels, polyester body fillers, and well-prepared OEM or old cured paint coats.
Preparation Steps:
- The surface must be completely dry, clean, and free of dust.
- The substrate should be slightly abraded (lightly sanded) to ensure optimum adhesion.
Application Method: Designed for spray gun application.
Recommended Film Thickness & Coverage
- Thickness as Filler: 100 μm
- Thickness as Sealer: 60 μm
- Theoretical Coverage: Approx. 3.5 m²/l (calculated for a smooth and regular surface at 100 μm dry film thickness).
Drying & Sanding Times
| Drying Phase / Process | Environment / Temperature | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Dust-free (Dust dry) | Air dry (20 °C) | 30 minutes |
| Through dry | Air dry (20 °C) | 4 hours |
| Ready for sanding | Air dry (20 °C) | After approx. 4 hours |
| Ready for sanding (Oven) | Baking / Oven (60 °C) | 30 minutes |
| Ready for sanding (IR) | Under Infrared (IR) lamp | 30 minutes |
Note: All technical specifications are based on tests conducted at a standard temperature of 20 °C.
Sanding & Recoatability
Sanding Method: Highly versatile; performs excellently for both dry and wet sanding processes.
Recoatability: Can be directly overcoated with any standard type of automotive lacquer or topcoat finish immediately after sanding is completed.
