VOC-compliant HS primer – Grey – 4L + Hardener

The Spralac SP5199 HS Primer is a 2K high solid acrylic-based primer, ideal for professional car refinishing. This 4:1 ratio system offers fast drying time, excellent sanding properties, and a smooth surface finish. Thanks to its thixotropic nature, it is easy to mix and apply.

Developed in compliance with EU VOC regulations, this primer can be applied to both steel and galvanized substrates.

Suitable for most automotive substrates – Direct-to-metal application with excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance on both steel and galvanized surfaces.

Hardener included: SP 2098 / 1L
Drying time: 60°C – 30 minutes; 20°C – 4 hours
Mixing ratio: 4:1

Application:

Can be applied on bare steel, galvanized steel, and existing paint surfaces. Surface must be clean, degreased, and sanded prior to application. Not suitable for aluminum!

• Pot life: approx. 30 minutes at 20°C
• Nozzle size: 1.4–1.8 mm (HVLP: 1.4–1.6 mm)
• Spray pressure: 3.5–4.5 bar
• Flash-off time between coats: 5–10 minutes
